Project – HR Global Enhancements

The service is requested as part of HR Global Enhancements. The project has the purpose to implement several SAP BW related technical enhancements (see task description) until end of this year.

Leistungsbeschreibung / Task Description

The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are independently performed by the external contractor:

• Preparing the SAP BW system to be ready for SAP 4/HANA
• Migration of old 3.x data sources
• Deletion of old data sources
• Migration of several other objects (Transformations, update rules) and deletion of obsolete data store object, like DSOs, Cubes and Multi Provider)
• Consultation to get User Frontend (HR Reporting Startpage) ready for the new EDGE Browser
• Consult in change requests (requirements will be handed over to Consultant in advance) related to enhancements of the SAP BW system
• Create data extractions (based on the requirement document) from Cornerstone Cloud to SAP ERP system and SAP ERP system to SAP BW system via Reporting APIs
• Consultation in creation new data structure from Entry Layer to Query Layer
• Consultation for system clean-up and performance improvements for daily/monthly data loads

The performance of the contractor has the goal to make the SAP BW system ready for the migration to BW 4/HANA and enhance the current system with new requirements. After the project the SAP BW system should be technical ready for the future move to BW 4/HANA and the performance should be better.

Timelines

Project start is in July 2020 with expected contractor involvement end in December 2020.
