The service is requested as part of the project ONE!GSC Horizon Phase 7 – Global Tax team. The project has the purpose to successfully deploy the ONE!GSC Horizon template to the following countries: BY/GE/KZ/RU/TR/UA and AE/DZ/EG/MA/NG/SA/TN.

BY = Weissrussland

GE = Georgien

KZ = Kasachstan

RU = Russland

TR = Türkei

UA = Ukraine


AE = Vereinte Arabische Emirate

DZ = Algerien

EG = Ägypten

MA = Marokko

NG = Nigeria

SA = Saudi Arabien

TN = Tunesien

The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are independently performed by the external contractor:

 

Project Management

  • Prepare and facilitate the weekly project related status meetings
  • Prepare the ONE!GSC Horizon report (only for Global Tax project) which contains KPIs. The format and requirements for this will be provided by Henkel in advance.
  • Facilitating of weekly status meetings and professional consulting regarding milestones
  • Meetings will be organized by Henkel in advance

 

  • Proactive coordination of workstreams & parallel projects/rollout locations
  • The ONE!GSC Horizon project consist of approximately 20 workstreams. The main focus is on the ones under the Finance, Foreign Trade, and Global Tax deployment management where we report to. 
  • Coordination in this case means consolidation of information for status reports (analysis, design, test, training, cutover, hypercare) as well as the highlighting of issues and risks which are addressed in the status report.

 

 

Test Management

  • Professional consulting on review and potential adjustment of test strategy and close monitoring of testing activities across rollout countries
  • As part of ONE!GSC Horizon project procedures this information is provided by Henkel in advance
  • If inconsistencies are detected they need to get addressed to Henkel with a professional advice on how to overcome them 
  • Manage test phase across rollout countries incl. status reporting and escalations
  • As part of ONE!GSC Horizon project procedures this information is provided by Henkel (format, KPIs). The format is weekly during the project phase. The information needs to be analyzed and evaluated with regards to the project progress of the Global Tax team.
  • The ONE!GSC Horizon project provides several escalation mechanisms (test management, deployment management, program management). The task is to identify the situation at hand and provide a professional consulting which steps by Henkel management should be taken. An introduction and guidance of the specifics of the escalation mechanisms will be provided by Henkel in advance.

 

Training Management

  • Coordinating of training activities in functional area of Finance (processes & systems)
  • Information for these training activities will be provided by Henkel in advance

 

 

Cutover & Hypercare Management

  • Close monitoring Cutover plans as well as tickets during Hypercare phase
  • Tickets are stored in Snow. Task is only to monitor if tickets are handled within SLAs
  • Manage Cutover & Hypercare phase across rollout countries incl. status reporting and escalations
  • Definition of the cutover list and timely execution within the deadlines. For the hypercare phase the management main task is the professional reporting to central hypercare management (deployment management, program management), professional advice on mitigation of impacts and operational management for the global tax team.
  • The ONE!GSC Horizon project provides several escalation mechanisms (test management, deployment management, program management). The task is to identify the situation at hand and provide a professional consulting which steps by Henkel management should be taken. An introduction and guidance of the specifics of the escalation mechanisms will be provided by Henkel in advance

 

Professional consulting of project management guidance to the Global Tax team and for project related cases sharing professional advice on SAP related issues.

The performance of the contractor has the goal to affiliate the project management as described above the ONE!GSC phase 7.1 and 7.2 for Global Tax.
