This project is about improvements & enhancements of already implemented Substance Volume Tracking (SVT) regulations in the regions EU/Turkey, US/Canada and Asia Pacific


  • Update of functionality to comply with latest legal regulations
  • Implementation of additional features for further automation and increased user friendliness
  • Performance improvements for filling & tracking programs


The goal of the project is to affiliate legal compliance regarding SVT for Henkel.


 

Leistungsbeschreibung / task description


The external consultant needs to perform the following tasks independently:


  • Consulting of Henkel IT regarding possible implementation options, considering functionality, implementation effort and future maintenance effort; Henkel IT is clarifying the detailed requirements with the users and will provide the requirements via an Excel list (project tracker). 
  • Henkel consultant will create Functional Design (FD) based on Henkel’s requirements (described above) by taking implementation approach into consideration
  • Creation of technical designs in Word according to Henkel’s requirements (described above)
  • Perform technical changes in the system:
  • Develop new or adjust existing programs and function modules in SAP ABAP according to the requirements specified in the functional design.
  • Adjust SAP customizing.
  • Perform unit test and check that new functionality is working as expected before it is handed over to Henkel IT for functional test. If bugs are identified, the process starts from development again.
  • Provide technical documentation for the implemented functionality that will be validated and approved by Henkel.
  • Explain the implemented functionalities to the maintenance team during handover at the end of the project. This handover will be a telco session that is organized by Henkel and the part of the consultant is to cover technical questions from the maintenance team. Henkel will also create the material for the handover to the maintenance team.

          The goal of the service delivery is to implement the required SVT functionalities.

 

Timelines / timelines


The project starts in March 2021 and is expected to last until end of 2021.

Sequence and priorities of the involved changes will be steered by the Henkel project manager. The consultant will get access to this priority list (project tracker).
