Consultant Finance (Senior)
The service is requested as part of the TOPAS replacement program, where the current group reporting running in SAP SEM-BCS. Henkel want to implement a strategic consolidation software, as the current SAP SEM-BCS will run out of maintenance by end of 2025. Therefore, a high-level roadmap has been defined and potential solution providers screened.
To decide on the final future group reporting solution, there are different workstreams defined within the overall program. Preparations in the current organisational and process design need to be checked and reworked, improvements in the SAP ERP system set-up as well as in the current SAP SEM-BCS system. A functional criteria catalogue has been created to select the future solution including a RfP to different solution providers and as basis to run a PoC before the final implementation will start.
The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are independently performed by the external contractor:
Global IT Project Lead in the TOPAS replacement program
Plan, organize and control the SAP SEM-BCS replacement program on a global level from an IT perspective (focus on applications and on the infrastructure)
Responsible for project execution to manage milestones achievement
Manage and coordinate project workstreams in overall timeline incl. quality control
Communicate with the key stakeholders and Finance users to gain the necessary insights about ongoing and future business developments
Define and manage deliverables in scope, time and budget and monitor the progress of these holistically
Define and manage IT architectural, process and organizational requirements in the future group reporting solution
Coordination and allocation of project members, departments and external service providers involved
Reporting on the projects towards the Steering Committee and to the Finance and IT stakeholders
The service of the contractor has the goal to facilitate the preparation of the future group consolidation solution.
