Project description

The service is requested to provide experience for validating, configuring & documenting the API Management suite in the SAP Cloud Platform properly. The project has the purpose to analyse, configure, develop and document a holistic API Management.

Task description

The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are independently performed by the external contractor:

• Technical consulting and analysis of Henkel SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) – API Management environment to improve and optimize the existing APIs in regard to reusability, custom code checks, security 
• Validate & enhance the current API policy catalogue based on best practises, common standards and security aspects to optimize and safeguard the APIs by applying best of breed policies. The access towards it will be granted from Henkel accordingly
• Setup & configure the Developer Portal in the SCP - API Management suite

The documentation of the applied changes & optimization potentials to the APIs will be signed off afterwards by Henkel. As a tool for documentation we would use Word and PowerPoint.

Stakeholders are for all topics the central Henkel IT SAP Cloud Platform Team.

The service of the contractor has the goal to increase the maturity of the currently applied APIs.
